A generic Webhook implementation or Gitter Integration

Hey, I am using code climate for https://github.com/openchs/openchs-client and will be using it for future repositories as well.
There is a lack of a generic implementation of a webhook, which other services can use. We either have to adapt to the CampFire or Hipchat implementation for integration.
I want to integrate my CodeClimate and Coverage reports to Gitter. I can pick up the task for adding the new integration, but wanted to discuss whether to have a Generic Webhook implementation or Gitter specific Integration?

Sorry for the delayed response! I don't think we'll be tackling a generic webhook implementation anytime soon so I'd recommend adding a new Gitter-specific integration.
