jQuery < 3.5.0 is vulnerable to the following : https://security.snyk.io/package/npm/jquery/3.2.1 (TL;DR; Cross site scripting and Prototype Pollution). Therefore, it should no longer be used in production.
Since the IT department of our university no longer allows us to use jQuery < 3.5.0 on the server, I have upgraded jQuery in otree-core.
