This is also going to be a problem for the next release of go.etcd.io/bbolt, 1.5.0/2.0.0, which will specify go 1.24: https://github.com/etcd-io/bbolt/blob/main/go.mod#L5C11-L5C19

Hi! is this something I could help with? I suppose it requires a change similar to #37875?

A project I'm working on is blocked on #39725. I'm hoping the k8s modules can be updated once the Go version is updated.

We aim to keep N-1 compatibility with Go versions in this project, so the current Go version in packages is 1.23. We cannot upgrade to 1.24 until Go 1.25 is released, by which time we can drop 1.23 support.
