How Can I Claim $200 DigitalOcean Credit with Existing .edu Account?

Hi everyone,

Hi GitHub Education Team,

I’ve already verified my GitHub Student Developer Pack and saw the offer for $200 in DigitalOcean platform credit for 1 year.

The issue is that I already have a DigitalOcean account, and I created it using my .edu email address. When I click “Get Access” from the Student Pack page, it redirects me to a signup page, which seems to require a brand new account.

Is there any way I can still claim the credit on my existing account, or do I need to create a new one even though I signed up with my student email?

I’d really appreciate your guidance on this!
