Description about external and local transitions

In external-versus-local-transitions, both sentences in the middle are about local transitions, no external transitions mentioned.
By the way, I think the expression makes confusion. The expression on wiki is more clear for me.

Would you like to propose a better text for that section? I probably copied that text from some uml book or stitched it together from that wiki and book. These are sometimes difficult to both write and read.

I think the expression on Wikipedia is clear enough. Or, we can make it more clear. How about "When the target is the substate or superstate of the source, the local transitions don't exit from and re-enter to the source, that means it wouldn't trigger stateExited and stateEntered listeners for the source, but the external transitions do."?
I'm not sure if there are other effects other than listeners triggering.
