projector plugin does not load on safari

I'm trying to visualize the embeddings in tensorboard but the projector tab isn't showing anything on colab.

When I downloaded the logs folder to my pc and than ran it locally, it worked perfectly fine. Does anybody have any idea why it isn't working in google colab and what can i do to make it work ?

The command i'm using to show the tensorboard:

%tensorboard --logdir tmp/

I found the solution :)

In my case, I was using Safari browser on mac. As soon as i opened colab on google chrome. Everything was alright.

I hope the same solution works for your case.

I investigated a bit and indeed the projector plugin does not seem to load in Safari. This problem is not limited to colab environments.

I've reopened since this seems worth investigating.

All I have to add from a technical perspective, is that the browser appears to make a request to load http://<server address>/data/index.js when it should instead be making a request to http://<server address>/data/plugin/projector/index.js.
