White flash overlay when transition finishes

Bug description:

At the end of transitions, a white flash can be seen. It's like a white overylay showing and deseaparing quickly. It doesn't happen for every slide (more or less random).
I've seen it with version of Chrome v34.0.1847.114 on a tablet (Samsung SM-T110).

Seeing some really weird behavior in this Plunker - will need to investigate. There may be multiple issues here.
