Pagebuilder doesn't load content when using invalid variable path

Preconditions and environment

• Magento 2.4.7-2

Steps to reproduce

• Enable Pagebuilder
• Add CMS Page with following content
• Text content should be {{config path="path/which/doesnt/exist"}}
• Save page
• Reload page edit form

Expected result

Pagebuilder loads correctly

Actual result

Pagebuilder doesn't render the content properly in the backend

Error in browser console:
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'variable_type')

I've reproduced the issue at the magento instance, see cms page:

The content contains a Row Block and a Text Element. But when loading the edit form the content is rendered as custom html. The errors breaks the pagebuilder, see browser console.
