Thanks for offering. This is possibly not an easy one as it is either a Quarto-web style problem or a Quarto-cli change.

Helping with the investigation will definitely help us, but don't feel too engaged to make a PR. Sharing your findings in this issue is also helpful.

As I am a curious person, I would like to know more: can you share more context on why you would like to help us with this kind of issue? Do you have some time allocated to help on an open-source project? Thanks.

Hi @cderv, thanks for the thoughtful response!

I’m currently working on a few developer tools and frameworks myself (including one focused on DX and documentation), so I often look at projects like Quarto to learn from and contribute to.

I do set aside some time to contribute to open source—when the contribution aligns with my own learning goals. If it turns out this issue requires deeper CLI or styling knowledge, I’d be happy to investigate further and share what I find, even if I don’t end up submitting the final PR.
